Technology in the Supermarket discussion

Check out all the Technology being displayed at Javits Center this week including: A Touch Screen for ordering deli meat once you walk into the supermarket; And Motorola's $900 consumer scanners to 90 Stop & Shop that allows customers to scan items as they put them in their cart.

What does this mean for union members? What does this mean for the industry? Our everyday jobs are continuing to fade as technology expands. Consumers and our lives continue to get easier with technology though. The issue is very important, what will this do to our industry?
