On September 25, 2008 United Food & Commercial Workers President Bruce W. Both, along with organized labor, the Reverend Jesse Jackson, working families and community activists across the metropolitan area joined the New York City Central Labor Council in an Emergency Mobilization Press Conference at noon in front of the NY Stock Exchange. The press conference was aimed to show the overall disappointment with United States Government's decision to "Bail-Out" irresponsible corporations that had brought us to this economic turmoil in the first place.
