Announcement to ShopRite Members: P.P.E. Update

Announcement To All Local 1500, Local 342, and Local 338 members.
After discussions with the Shoprite Employers, Shoprite has agreed to install Plexiglass partitions over the service counters in the Meat, Seafood and Deli Departments, as well as any other areas where our members are directly servicing customers. This process will take place over the next 7 days.
The Company has also agreed to continue to enforce social distancing, sanitizing, and supplying of Personal Protective Equipment, as well as increased enforcement of limiting customer counts in the stores not to exceed NY State mandates and stricter enforcement so that all customers must wear a mask. These continued enforcement's should take place within the next 48 hours. The Unions will keep you up to date throughout the process.
